Gene’s obsession with the craft of filmmaking stretches far back into childhood when he first picked up a camera and began making short films. He’s never looked back.

Prior to shooting commercially Gene was selected to train as one of fifteen directors at the Australian Film Television Radio School. His narrative work has screened to large audiences at film festivals such as Tropfest, Flickerfest, Crested Butte Colorado and St Kilda, to name a few.

The wonder of creating authentic human stories and capturing them in unique and interesting ways continues to be an infinite source of inspiration.
